Welcome to the MBC Christmas 2004 Tournament
North German Plain '85

Instructions

To take part in this tournament you will need to download and install the "Germany 2 Expansion Pack" for North German Plains '85, please download this from Glenn's site

Participants will play mirrored games in each round. The bottom four players will be eliminated each round.

Please check the scenario names carefully, if you play the wrong scenario you wont score any points.

Game reporting

All games count as Battles. You may report the games start and end as usual, Once the game is completed record the player 1 score from the Victory Dialogue and email that to me here and copy the email to your opponent.

Keep your last game file in case of any dispute and please choose a password which you can share, should the need arise.

Calculating Game Scores

Since the Victory Dialogue only gives a calculated points score for the first side (WP in this scenario) We need to have a method for calculating a score for the second side. The most straight forward way of doing this is to record the Warsaw Pact score as that recorded in the victory dialogue and express the NATO score the same value but as a negative score. So if you as Warsaw Pact scored 200pts in the scenario then the corresponding NATO score is -200.

If you got unlucky and scored a negative score as Warsaw Pact then the corresponding NATO score is positive.

Your Score for your NATO game and your Warsaw Pact game are added together and the resulting figure is your total score for that game.
